Play Ludo Pro Online: The Ultimate Digital Board Game

How to Play Ludo (Rules & Controls)

The objective of Ludo is simple: be the first player to move all 4 of your pawns out of your starting base, around the perimeter of the board, and into the center “Home” triangle.

Game Controls:

1. Roll the Dice: When it is your turn, click the large 🎲 button to roll.
2. Move Out: You MUST roll a 6 to move a pawn out of your colored base and onto the starting square.
3. Select a Pawn: Once a pawn is on the track, click it to move it forward by the number shown on the dice. (Pro Tip: If you only have one valid move, our game will automatically move the pawn for you to speed up play!)
4. Extra Turns: You earn a bonus roll if you roll a 6, if you capture an opponent’s pawn, or if one of your pawns successfully reaches the center Home.

Capturing & Safe Zones

Ludo isn’t just a race; it’s a battle! If your pawn lands on the exact same square as an opponent’s pawn, the opponent’s pawn is “captured” and sent all the way back to their base.

However, look out for the Gray Stars scattered around the board. These are Safe Zones. If your pawn is sitting on a star, it cannot be captured by anyone!
